Located in the heart of Westminster, London SW1, close to the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Green overlooks St. Johns Gardens ( pictured ) to the west side and has at ground floor level self-contained units comprising a medical centre, dentist, pharmacy and beautician/hair salon.

The developer transferred the freehold to the lessees of the apartments on 26 January 2010, having sold all the units .

Apartments are owned on the basis of 999 years leases running from January 2004.

Subletting by leaseholders is strictly on the basis of six month minimum periods and occupation by one family only (see specimen lease).

The freehold is owned by Westminster Green Management Company Limited, the Board of which is elected by apartment owners (each apartment constitutes one member) and directors must stand for re-election by rotation as per the Articles of Association of the company.

The Company employs 10 permanent staff to provide 24 hour, 7 days per week service including a Building Manager, Mr Jeremy Claasen jeremyclaasen@westminstergreen.org who has extensive experience in supervising all aspects of the building management. Since acquiring the freehold, the company has appointed Hurford Salvi Carr Property Management (HSCPM) as its Managing Agents who in turn have appointed a dedicated Property Manager, Steve Drake steve@hscpm.co.uk .  HSCPM also have specialists in leases and legal matters and have their own qualified surveyors and insurance brokers within the group. The Company has set in place a long term Planned Maintenance Program for the maintenance of the building to a high standard  and this is fully budgeted for within the Service Charge paid by each apartment.

The Company currently has 6 directors including our Chairperson, Mrs Anne Marie Morris MP, all of whom can be contacted at  directors@westminstergreen.org should members wish to address any specific issues. An Annual General Meeting is held each November at which all Members may vote either in person or by Proxy. Proxy votes can be scanned and emailed as many members also have homes in other parts of the United Kingdom and around the world.

The Service Charge accounts are audited annually by an independent firm of Chartered Accountants, Arnold Hill & Co. LLP who also prepare the Company accounts.


Next to the entrance foyer (above) are located a Business Centre including separate Board room with Wi-Fi and Fax and a Meeting Room (below) for social events. These rooms are for the exclusive use of residents and are booked in advance as required.

The building has an Optic Fibre backbone for delivery of high speed internet to all apartments, which benefit from CAT 5 cabling. Contracts with the provider www.hyperoptic.com  are by arrangement with individual apartments as are the provision of satellite television services from SKY, Freesat and the european HOTBIRD satellite. The building manager can provide details.

The building also has a newly refurbished GYM with changing rooms and shower facilities which are for the exclusive use of residents.
